Team is always very professional and knowledgeable.

They were incredibly nice and promptly helped out two out of staters with a minor issue free of charge. We were directed there by a family who lives in Ladson and talked about their countless great experiences there. I can see why, they were nothing short of sweet and made the largest impact on the outcome of the rest of our trip!

Came into Honest 1 for a check engine light issue and my car was starting to stall out at times when at a stop light or turning. They said the problem was a couple of sensors that were bad and had to be changed out. One of the sensors we agreed on the work, but the other we did not. Come to find out that they changed both sensors without permission. No problem, it was a miss communication and they ate the cost of accidentally replacing the second sensor. When picking up the car after the work was done, I had relayed my concerns to the owner about taking it on a long trip. I was planning on taking my daughters and 3 of their friends to Orlando to a dance competition by myself and my husband would not be accompanying me. The owner assured me that the car was like brand new and I would not have any problems. Well, we go on our trip to Orlando and it was fine there. On the way back home, we hit a thunderstorm, the car decelerates and stalls out on I-95. So now I'm 2 hours away from home with 5 little girls sitting in the rain. Needless to say, we got home...the car did not. I called my Honest 1 about the situation and to make this long story not as long. They could not, would not help me. This is why I distrust most car repair shops. You can call yourself Honest, but that doesn't make you an Honest company. This was a very traumatic experience for me and the girls. I will never return to this place and I forewarn anyone who is contemplating going here. The lady who worked the desk, Skye, was very sweet. I did like her.

I've been a customer of the Ladson, SC Honest-1 shop since 2012. In the four years I've been taking our vehicles to them I always felt that they were honest with me (pricing, mark-ups, labor, purchasing your own parts to save, etc) and didn't try to get one over on me. They were always willing to help me make the right decision, helped me source parts, and freely gave recommendations about everything. They always left it up to me, and never pressured me into having our vehicles serviced there. I've had timing belts replaced, water pumps, power steering pumps, compressors, condensers, TPS sensors, O2 sensors, plugs, pads, tires, and even full suspension replacements, etc... you name it and I've probably had them perform the work. I've never had something they did fail due to incompetence or faulty work. They, on several occasions, instructed me how to preform tasks (such as replacing ignition coils) to do the work myself, instead of paying them to do it... saving me money. They may not be the cheapest place to get your vehicle(s) serviced but, they're upfront about pricing and if you're willing to ask they'll tell you why things are the way they are. However, they have always been willing to give discounts on work and they reward repeat customers wherever they can. I've had them, on several occasions, perform free checks on our vehicles if something just wasn't right (engine lights, etc) and they were more than happy to do so. The customer service has always been spot-on, and we've always felt they made a legitimate effort to provide us with what we needed... when we needed it. I'd like to give a personal thanks to David and Johnny, who recently helped us get one of our vehicles serviced and ready for a move with every discount they could offer knowing we were pinching pennies. These two are the ones to work with in Ladson, they're great people.

Every time we have anything done here it is very fast and efficient, as well as friendly !

Very fast and friendly, would recommend an oil change here if you don't have a lot of time, great location!

Unbelievable good service. They did such a good and quick job. I had 2 cats in carriers in my car and it was very hot outside. Right away they carried the cats into their cool waiting room. I will definitely use their service again.
